The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue their offseason plan by signing safety Chris Cooper to a reserve/futures contract. Cooper spent the majority of the season on the 2021 season on the Buccaneers practice squad.

Cooper filled in admirably in the season opener for injured safety Jordan Whitehead before being released and re-signed to the practice squad.
