CBS Sports: Gronkowski Won’t Make Decision Before Minicamp

0

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a busy offseason since losing to the Los Angeles Rams in last year’s playoffs. Starting with the retirements of Tom Brady and Ali Marpet all the way up to Bruce Arians stepping down and Todd Bowles being promoted. It’s been an offseason frenzy for the team.

The Buccaneers did get Brady back but lost Alex Cappa and Jordan Whitehead. They did well in replacing Cappa and Whitehead via free agency, a trade and the draft. There is one name that Buccaneer faithful have been waiting to hear about, Rob Gronkowski.

CBS Sports‘ Jonathan Jones recently talked about Gronkowski’s return/retirement.

Jones states that it’s his belief is Gronkowski won’t make a decision before mandatory minicamp on June 7th. This falls in line with most people’s thinking. Gronkowski is on record as not being a fan of the offseason programs. He also is on record saying it will only take him a week or two to get in game shape. As we’ve said here in the past, Gronk goes by the beat of a different drummer.
