Gronk’s Agent Leaves the Door Open for a Return

Tight end Rob Gronkowski retired from the NFL Tuesday. The announcement came via Gronkowski on his social media accounts. And just like when quarterback Tom Brady retired, the rumors started flooding the newsfeeds.

According to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, a Gronk comeback isn’t off the table. Rosenhaus spoke with ESPN’s Adam Schefter shortly after the announcement.

“It would not surprise me if Tom Brady calls him during the season to come back and Rob answers the call. This is just my opinion but I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob comes back during the season or next season.”

Rosenhaus went on to say that this is just his personal opinion, but he’s closer to Gronk than most aside from friends and family. This could very well be another case of a player changing his mind about hanging them up. And we know Brady can be very persuasive we he needs to be. The Buccaneers will undoubtedly leave the light on for Gronk as they did Brady.
