The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have named rookie offensive lineman Luke Goedeke as their starting left guard. Head coach Todd Bowles made the announcement after Monday’s practice.

The second-round draft pick and self described glass eater takes over for retired guard, Ali Marpet. The Buccaneers traded up to select Goedeke in the second-round in this year’s draft. Goedeke “beat out” veteran offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie for the job.
