Whether it was the Bucs’ offensive line, the Falcons’ atrocious pass rush, or a little bit of both, Tom Brady had seemingly hours to throw back there during the Bucs’ matchup with the Falcons Sunday afternoon. He wasn’t sacked once, although there was that controversial call on Grady Jarrett at the end of the game that is gaining a lot of traction on social media. Regardless, here are 5 things Brady could have done while standing in the pocket.
His Taxes
While Brady’s company TB12 received close to $1 million from a PPP loan during the pandemic (because him and Gisele’s combined net worth of $650 million isn’t enough to support a family), he still has to do taxes, no matter how many Super Bowl rings he’s got. At least Florida doesn’t have a state income tax.

Shoot, he could’ve eaten an order of gabagool, too. Not sure what places in Tampa has the good stuff or if it’s part of the TB12 Diet, but with the way he’s been looking more and more like a skeleton in his press conferences, it seems like he could put on some weight.
Save His Marriage
Oof, this one’s a tough inclusion, but he did have quite a bit of time for self-reflection. I mean, he’s the one that came back out of retirement just to beat the Falcons twice a year.
Read One Of My Stupid Blog Posts
I mean, they’re not long, but even if I wrote a manifesto-style piece on why the Bucs’ offensive struggles in the red zone is somehow connected to Taco Bell removing Nacho Fries from the menu, he still likely would have had time to read it.
Respond To Antonio Brown’s Recent IG Posts
Brady’s social media team is one of the best in football, so it’s unlikely that he’ll ever respond directly to Brown’s recent posts seemingly speaking on Brady’s marriage troubles, but it’d be pretty funny, wouldn’t it?
