The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected defensive lineman Calijah Kancey with the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. As with all first-round picks, the player selected gets “The Call”, Kancey was no different.

Buccaneers’ general manager Jason Licht made the call informing Kancey that he is now a Buccaneer. Licht then handed the phone to head coach Todd Bowles who welcomed the Pitt Panther to the organization.
