Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ head coach Todd Bowles spoke with the media following the team’s first day of training camp Wednesday. Earlier this offseason is was reported wide receiver Russell Gage Jr suffered an injury. One that has kept him out of every team activity including Wednesday’s first training camp practice.
Bowles updated but didn’t reveal much about Gage’s injury in saying,
“It’s a lower extremity injury. It’s a leg injury, but he’ll be fine. I mean, we’re counting on them. He’ll be back and he’s working to get back.”
