The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into Carolina to take on the Panthers this Sunday in a game they need to win in order to clinch the division.
Because of that, all eyes and ears have been focused on quarterback Baker Mayfield’s ribs. Mayfield injured his ribs on a late hit by New Orleans Saints’ defensive back Tyrann Mathieu in last Sunday’s 23-13 loss. X-rays came back negative for Mayfield but he’s definitely shown signs that the injury was hampering him during practice.
Friday, Mayfield looked much better in practice and head coach Todd Bowles told the media Mayfield is “full go” for Sunday. Great news for the Pewter Pirates heading into the season finale.
Bucs coach Todd Bowles said QB Baker Mayfield and every player is “full go.”
