Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales is set to interview with the Carolina Panthers for their open head coaching position. As reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Canales gets the interview after one year of being a coordinator and play caller.
This seems like a long-shot for Canales to land the job. It would also point to just how unattractive the Panthers position has become. No slight to Canales, but more of an indictment on how bad it is within the Panthers organization.
