Roster: Alterraun Verner, Johnathan Banks, Mike Jenkins, Sterling Moore
CB Tim jennings will join a talented group of corners. Jennings was recently signed to the Buccaneers after being released by the Chicago Bears and knows Lovie Smith’s defense having played under Lovie’s regime for several years. Sterling Moore has seemed to lock in the Nickle back postions, but will that be changed due to the addition of Tim Jennings?

Not even a 98 yard INT returned for a touchdown could keep Khaseem Greene from the roster hatchet. Tampa could have the most talented Linebacker squad in the National Football League. Kwon Alexander has done more than live up to expectations, he exceeded them. With Lavonte David And Kwon Alexander playing at such a high level, I do not see any reason why they both couldn’t be Pro Bowlers this year.

Roster: K Kyle Brindza, LS Andrew DePaola, P Jacob Schum
Kyle Brindza has had the best preseason any rookie kicker could ask for. Starting his NFL career with the Detroit Lions, he has wowed and amazed. Why the Lions saw fit to trade him for a mediocre TE is probably a question that will never be answered. But now that is in the past for Brindza, he continued to shine with the Buccaneers showing off his accuracy and leg strength against the Maimi Dolphins and wrapped up his preseason with 100% made field goals.

Roster: Bradley McDougald, Major Wright, Chris Conte, D.J. Swearinger, Keith Tandy
With Keith Tandy’s performance in the final preseason game, there is no wonder why he made the team. He is not a every day big play maker but makes the big plays when they matter. I look forward to seeing Tandy this season doing what he does best, making that big play when it’s needed.
