Ben Roethlisberger was brought in a lot sooner than intended. Still healing from his foot injury, the Steelers had no choice but to bring the quarterback back into the game for the injured Landry Jones. Jones left the game today with an ankle injury. he was carted off the field and did not return. Big Ben played like he was healthy as he crushed the Clevland Browns 30-9.
“Very little worked the way it was supposed to at Heinz Field on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers put Ben Roethlisberger, who wasn’t healthy enough to start, on the game day roster as a backup to Landry Jones. The miserable Cleveland Browns defense largely silenced DeAngelo Williams. But for once in two years, Pittsburgh handled Cleveland, one of the league’s worst franchises, with the ease.” – Reported by Jacob Klinger
