The Buccaneers hand the Cowboys their seventh loss

After the fumble in the end zone that caused more heart attacks than a fast-food restaurant, Jameis redeems himself by a bootleg run that ended the Cowboys’ winning chances. Jeff Heath, was at the right place at the right time, multiple times, and successfully ended Winston’s four-game- no turnover streak. But it would fail to seal a win. The Buccaneers were fighting, like wounded animals. And literally, they were. With Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Ali Marpet sidelined with injuries, The Bucs struggled but still found a way to win. Bradley McDougald comes through again today with a monster interception, in the end zone, which was a well-needed boost for overall team morale.

“The Cowboys have lost seven straight games because they have no idea how to finish without Tony Romo. Dez Bryant had his chances in this one, dropping a Matt Cassel pass with four minutes to play that would have been a huge third-down conversion. Bryant had a chance to redeem himself on the Cowboys’ last play from scrimmage, but he didn’t make a play on Cassel’s end-zone heave that was intercepted by Bradley McDougald. Bryant was calling for pass interference, but he would have been better off just going up for the ball.” – Reported by Dan Hanzus
