Jameis Winston helps Tampa beat the Falcons

Winston played like a veteran quarterback, today. He played like a man who wants to be in the postseason, and he ran like a running back. But it was the arm of Jameis Winston that initially sealed the deal. Jameis nails WR Mike Evans in the end zone for the 6-yard-game-winning touchdown.

“Jameis Winston kept the game-winning drive alive with a 20-yard scramble, then hit Mike Evans for a 6-yard touchdown with 1:39 left, leading the Bucs to a 23-19 comeback win over the Falcons at Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs (6-6) trailed and had the ball at their own 20, and Winston had the biggest play, breaking tackles on a 20-yard run to convert a third-and-19. Tampa Bay swept the season series against the Falcons (6-6) to help their wild-card chances with four games to play. Lavonte David clinched the win with an interception on the first play of the Falcons’ drive with 1:32 left, the team’s first takeaway in two games.” – Reported by Greg Auman
