Jon Robinson takes over as the Titans GM. Robinson has proven himself as adequate, in the handling of player personnel in Tampa, and now he will have the ability to select these players. Depending on who becomes the new HC in Tennesee(Mike Mularkey or Josh McDaniels), the Titans could finally have that turn around season they have been looking for.

“The Titans made the first of three franchise-altering offseason decisions and began the process of resolving the second. Buccaneers executive Jon Robinson agreed in principle to become the Titans’ general manager, he confirmed Thursday morning, before the team began interviewing head coaching candidates. News of his pending hire was first reported by The Tennessean. It was officially announced by the Titans on Thursday night. A press conference is tentatively scheduled for Monday. In addition to hiring a head coach, the Titans, who went 3-13 this season, must also determine how to use the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft.” -Reported by Jason Wolf
