Ex-Buccaneers O-lineman Cosey Coleman arrested on assault charges. Cosey Coleman has had his run in’s with the law but this time, the aggravated assault charge is a doozy, and he could wind up doing some time over it.
“Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Cosey Coleman was arrested Monday and charged with battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reported both charges are felony counts and stem from a Jan. 11 incident during which Coleman was accused of punching a man in the face and knocking him to the ground. An incident report filed about the alleged attack noted Coleman was escorted out of Ducky’s in Tampa, Florida, after the encounter and proceeded to get a handgun from his car before being stopped by security, according to the Tampa Bay Times.” – Reported by Tim Daniels
