As the rumor mill started churning back in January nobody was quite sure what Calvin Johnson’s plans truly were. Some said he was trying to get the Lions to release him, which would make him eligible to sign with any team. Others said he was truly done. Well, as I reported a month and a half ago, Megatron has called it a career effective immediately. Detroit Lions confirm.
