The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reported to have brought in OL Caylin Hauptmaan, Monday, for a tryout. Hauptmann was also brought into Tampa for a workout back in April of this year. The offensive lineman signed with the Browns in 2013, was released and signed by the Seahawks the same year. He was released from the SeaHawks in 2014 and picked back up by the Browns only to be released again. The New England Patriots picked him up shortly after the Browns released him in 2014. His career in the NFL seems to be that of a practice body only. He could find a home on Tampa’s practice squad as an insurance body for the offensive line.
