27-year-old Kitchen, out of Kent State, was signed as a undrafted free agent in 2012 by the Baltimore Ravens. He was cut prior to the start of the 2012 season and was picked up by the Cleveland Browns. He played in 40 games for the Browns over a span of three seasons, recorded 26 solo tackles, and no sacks. He played in one game with the Lions and one game with the Patriots but did not record any statistics in either game.
