Tampa’s loss puts them just on the outside of the playoffs. The spot formerly held by the Buccaneers is now held by the Redskins. However, if the Redskins lose to the Carolina Panthers Monday night, then Tampa will reclaim their spot. The temporary placement of the Redskins should be short lived as the Panthers are playing better football and have a solid chance of beating Washington. So, tonight all Bucs fans should root for the Panthers. *CRINGE*
Even if the Redskins win Monday night, Tampa is not out of the hunt or even mathematically removed from a playoff appearance. However, we must win our last two games. So don’t give up on our Bucs just yet. We did just win five in a row.
