DeSean Jackson is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday unless the universe has other plans. Jameis Winston said, “You better believe it.” and now you should. Jackson was asking for around $12 million per year, and whether or not that is what he will get is still unknown.
Jackson brings a formidable deep threat to the Buccaneers offense and a speed that kills. Dirk Koetter said on many occasions that they will be looking to add weapons to the offense this offseason, and the addition of Jackson will do a lot to take a ton of burden off of Mike Evans shoulders but too will take a lot of coverage pressure off of Evans, allowing for more big plays. Not only that it narrows down the choices for the Bucs 2017 first round pick.
