The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed TE Kivon Cartwright and offensive lineman Ben Gottschalk on waivers. GottShalk, who was signed as an UDFA with the Chiefs last year, had a very brief stay with the Buccaneers and was later released.
GottShalk, who was signed as an UDFA with the Chiefs last year, had a very brief stay with the Buccaneers and was later released. He was quickly picked up by the San Francisco 49ers but that too proved to be a short venture and he was again released. The Buccaneers then decided to pick him up once more and placed him on the practice squad. He was later promoted to the active roster and appeared in two games.
Kivon Cartwright was signed by the Bucs as an UFDA, last season, and was later waived with an injury designation during 53-man roster cuts. Cartwright cleared waivers and was then placed on the Buccaneers IR only to be cut with an injury settlement and then brought back to Future reserves in the beginning of 2017. Cartwright has not seen any regular season playing time.
