After finishing last season as the 18th ranked team in scoring offense and 18th in yards per game, but Tampa received some praise from NFL.Com’s, Around the NFL writer Chris Wesseling. Wesseling has placed Tampa at 10th for his top 10 NFL offenses. The Falcons and the Saints were also listed and ranked higher as number 3 and number 6.

Tampa’s offseason offensive additions of DeSean Jackson, O.J. Howard, Jeremy McNichols, and Chris Godwin should help to push and already good offense over the top.
Wesseling also graded Tampa’s backfield that consists of Doug Martin, Jacquizz Rodgers, Chris Sims, Peyton Barber, and Jeremy McNichols as a B.

Jameis Winston was also given a B grade and the star-studded receiving corp consisting of Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Adam Humphries, Cameron Brate, O.J. Howard, Chris Godwin, and Luke Stocker a high grade of A.

Being considered a top ten offense in the NFL by any outside media is a nice change of pace, even if the odds do not coincide with Wesseling’s belief.
