The Buccaneers Believe They Can End Playoff Drought.

I know we’ve discussed the new weapons on our bribed Tampa Bay Buccaneers ad nauseam, but I truly am excited for this coming season. As you are well aware, the Bucs have not been to the playoffs since the 2007 season, but with these new weapons on offense, most believe Tampa will end it’s playoff drought thus coming season.

One of the biggest additions on offense has been well documented, WR DeSean Jackson. He is one of the fastest players in the league, as well as an explosive play maker. Before this upcoming season, Mike Evans has mostly been our only reliable offensive weapon since he was drafted by the team after the 2014 season. Due to those lack of weapons, most of the defensive focus was on Evans, who garners a double team on every play. Having the ‘lightning’ (Jackson) lining up opposite the ‘thunder’ (Evans), it will be much more difficult to focus on just one, because the other will always have the potential the destroy the defense. Another addition was TE O.J. Howard out of Alabama. He is a big and versatile target for famous Jameis, but he does need to get better in the blocking game.

All the arrows are pointing upwards for the Buccaneers this season, even with the misfortune of having to play 16 grueling games in a row, I firmly believe these 2 additions will pay the most dividends to the team during the 2017 season, and will play a big part in the success of the team. Football season starts tonight Bucs fans, and as unsettling as it is to not be playing week 1, just knowing the leaves are changing, fall is around the corner, and football is back.
