Week 2 vs. Chicago Bears Game Prediction by Hagen

Well, Bucs fans, after nature forced us to wait yet another week for us to finally see our beloved Buccaneers again, the seemingly endless wait is finally over. This Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally start off the 2017 regular season with a home game against Chicago.

The Bears come off a 23-17 loss to Atlanta and fared better than most people expected against a strong Falcons team. Chicago will start Mike Glennon at Quarterback, whom we are very familiar with, and who will certainly be pumped against his former team. Glennon will most likely play with a chip on his shoulder and try to prove our organization wrong for letting him move on. Chicago’s young Running Back Jordan Howard has become a solid back in the NFL. If Glennon clicks, keeping Chicago’s offense in check will be a hard piece of work.

As far as their Defense is concerned, they did a decent job putting Matt Ryan under pressure last week, especially their front seven looked good for most of the game, holding the Falcons’ strong running game at 64 yards.

However, the Bucs should be fresh and well rested. The Bears are one of the weaker opponents that we will face all year, yet they should not be taken lightly.

Conclusively, I am predicting our first win. Bucs win it 28-17. Enjoy the game, everybody… and go Bucs!
