Looks like there will be a new kicker in town as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reported to be signing kicker Patrick Murray.
Later today will likely come the news that the Buccaneers are releasing the woeful kicker, Nick Folk.
Murray is known to Bucs fans and many were curious as to why we released him in the first place as he was 1005 on his extra point attempts and 83.3% on his FG attempts. However, Murray was injured in 2015 and both he and Kicker Connor Barth were both released in favor of Kyle Brindza.
Murray ended up signing with the Browns but that was short lived as he again ended up on IR and again was let go.
Recently, Murray signed with the Saints, but that too was short lived, and he was let go after being apart of their team for a few weeks.
Despite his injuries, he had been more efficient than current kicker Nick Folk and hopeful will put an end to our kicking woes.
