Let’s Pack the House!

Big win for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday as they manhandled the San Francisco 49ers, defeating them 27-9 at home in Ray Jay. It seemed like everything went the Buccaneers’ way except for attendance. Only 40,680 Bucs fans showed up to cheer on their team, but that number falls short of capacity by nearly 15,000 seats. If you watched Sunday’s game on TV, you may have noticed that there were large areas of the silver stadium club and the upper deck left empty.

“With next week’s game against the Carolina Panthers, one of our biggest divisional rivals, the team will need everyone to attend. Everyone!”

Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul pleaded with fans via Eduardo Encina of the Tampa Bay Times for them to be in attendance for next week’s game and help the Buccaneers defend their home field.

“They’re coming in strong, and we’re coming in strong, too, this is our house. We have the home-field advantage. We most definitely need every fan out. It was kind of empty out there today. We still love the fan support, but we need everybody out here. If we’re going to do it, we’re going to do it with everybody. We need everybody here.” Read the full article here.
