Overview:
Darryl Williams is a junior at Mississippi State. He is projected to get picked early in the third round by most NFL mock drafts. Depending on what the Bucs end up doing with their early picks, Licht should consider drafting Williams if he is still available when the Bucs are on the board with their third round pick. Williams is one of the better guards available in the 2019 draft and Tampa Bay’s offensive line certainly needs help. He seems to have all the tools to become a starter at the next level right quickly.
Pros:
– Excellent blitz and twist recognition
– Knows how to create holes for the running game
– Does not get overpowered
– Great use of hands
Cons:
– Small frame for NFL standards
– Needs to work on his athletic abilities
