On 95.3 WDAE this morning it was reported on the show, with TKras and Ronnie Lane, via NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport that the Bucs have offered Kwon Alexander a long-term deal since his injury.

This would confirm the remarks from Jason Licht and Bruce Arians that they want Alexander back in 2019, and see him as the “heart and soul” of the defense.
That said he is still expected to test free agency despite the offer.

His market value is estimated to be around $10.2M per season per Spotrac. And it has been rumored that his desiring to be paid like a top linebacker in the league.
The Bucs front office doesn’t seem concerned about Alexander wanting to explore his options, and that there is optimism he will be back in 2019.
