Locust was the defensive line coach for the Birmingham Iron in the AAF league this year. And also had a stint in 2017 with the Ravens as a coaching intern. Where she worked with the defensive line and linebacker units.
Javadifar was a physical therapist at Avant Physical Therapy in Seattle, Washington. she has a degree in Molecular Biology and her doctor of physical therapy from New York Medical College.
This hiring makes good on a promise by Bruce Arians that he intended to bring women into his coaching staff. He also made remarks that there should be more full-time female coaches.
These hires won’t only add a different layer in Tampa Bay, but maybe usher in a new era of women in professional football.
