NFL Network/NFL.com Insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the AAF has released some of the players from their contracts and are free to sign elsewhere.
Note on AAF players such as Charles Johnson, Jhurell Pressley, Karter Schult, Jayrone Elliott (who was once #Packers Walter Payton award winner), Trent Richardson, and some others — they are out of their contracts and free to sign with any NFL team. Their AAF contracts are over.
