Reports came out earlier today from Yahoo Sports that the NFL had essentially told its teams to not contact any AAF player.

The story quickly changed as the AAF released all players from their contracts shortly after the Yahoo Sports story broke.
Effective immediately, all AAF players are authorized to sign with NFL Clubs.

This is great news for the former players of the AAF, but just another odd day in this ongoing story of the demise of the AAF.
