Bucs Select CB Jamel Dean In The 3rd Round, 94th Overall

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned to cornerback again and have selected Jamel Dean out of Auburn in 3rd round, 94th overall.

During his time at Auburn he collected 2 INT’s and 73 total tackles. Dean has great speed, and should fit well in DC Todd Bowles press-man scheme.

Dean is 6’1″ 206lbs and ran a 4.3 second 40-yard dash at the Combine. The second fastest overall for this year’s Combine.

His durability is a question mark, as he has had multiple knee injuries.

The Bucs picked up the 94th and 99th overall pick from the LA Rams in a trade for the 70th overall pick.
