Buccaneers center Evan Smith saw significant time at center with the second-string during Saturday’s training camp.
Bucs center Evan Smith was working as second-string center Saturday, looks fully recovered from surgery to repair torn labrums in both hips last fall.

Smith is returning from a torn labrum in each hip suffered last season. The 33-year-old veteran is by most people’s account on the bubble to make the final 53-man roster. So seeing Smith get time with the second-string is encouraging, especially considering the injuries he suffered last season.
The Buccaneers offensive line’s performance has been an issue for quite some time. Let’s hope Smith will be the player he was during his time in Green Bay, and help solidify the depth for the offensive line moving forward.
