Day four of Buccaneers training camp was underway today. After binging on social media content for all things training camp related, the always reliable Greg Auman, from The Athletic, dropped an interesting nugget of Bucs news during practice.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “So what? It was a freebie…”. It’s understandable, but let’s give the Mike Edwards credit for just being in the right place at the right time and coming down with the interception. But no, that’s not what stood out. That would happen just a few moments later with yet another Auman tweet.

The second interception of the day from Edwards was an absolute beauty. Sitting back in soft coverage, Edwards saw the opportunity, blitzed the throwing lane and took it back for six. Textbook. I’m no fortune teller so I can’t predict where Edwards stands right now in Bowles mind. My educated guess though is Mike Edwards will be starting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sooner rather than later.
