Former Buccaneer and current Panther Gerald McCoy was fined for $10,527 for his unnecessary roughness penalty last Thursday against the Buccaneers.
McCoy was penalized for shoving Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen. McCoy claimed Jensen was hitting and shoving him after the whistle. The “she said, Jensen said” thing is a bit tiring, but suffice it to say the NFL may have put a damper on future Panther ice cream parties.
