The Buccaneers traveled all the way out to Los Angeles to take on the Rams in week 4 of the NFL season.

Tampa Bay was expected to struggle against the defending NFC champions. Not so fast as they say. The Buccaneers offense took their opening drive and went the distance. Peyton Barber capped it off….

The Rams offense has looked lethargic at times under the Buccaneers pass rush, leading to this interception by Jordan Whitehead.

The Buccaneers didn’t hesitate to capitalize on the Rams mistake as Jameis Winston connected with Chris Godwin.

Tampa Bay’s defense again came through forcing a turnover. Lavonte David stepped in front of a Jared Goff pass setting up the Buccaneers and wide receiver Chris Godwin for his 2nd TD reception.

The Rams didn’t fold though, driving the length of the field and capping it off with 13 yard TD run by running back Todd Gurley. Shortly thereafter the Rams would get the ball back and quickly drive the length of the field to close the Buccaneers lead to 21-14 with only a few minutes left in the half.

Typically on the road in this scenario teams would run the clock out content with a 7 point lead at the half. Not the Bruce Arians’ Buccaneers, they drove 75 yards in just over two minutes to increase the lead 28-14. The Rams added a 58 yard FG right before the half to bring the score to 28-17 Buccaneers.
