Week 10 Preview: Bucs vs. Cardinals

0

In a week 10 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers try to snap a four game losing streak. They host rookie quarterback Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals, who are coming off a Thursday night loss against San Francisco.

Kyler Murray – Tough Challenge For Buccaneers Defense

The first overall pick has passed for 2229 yards, 9 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Needless to say, he is also a threat on the ground. He has rushed for 313 yards and two scores.

Containing Murray and keeping him from gaining yardage on the ground will be a key factor for winning this game.

David Johnson Is Back

Furthermore, the Cardinals will start their star running back David Johnson again, who is back from an injury that caused him to miss multiple games.

If the Bucs defense continues to dominate as far as stopping the run is concerned, they will be in great shape to finally win a game again.

Will Tampa Bay Be Able To Create A Running Game?

The Cardinals’ run defense is ranked 23rd in the league. Ronald Jones will get the starting nod and should thrive against thus defense.

Consequently, Jameis Winston will have a much easier life with some weight off of his shoulders. Arizona’s pass defense is ranked 28th in the NFL. Therefore, Byron Leftwich and the Bucs offense should find a way to score plenty of points on Sunday.

Conclusion: Bucs Win High-Scoring Game

The Bucs finally win again! Look for Winston to get two scores and two turnovers. The running game will contribute another two touchdowns. Tampa Bay’s secondary is taken apart, again, but it will be enough to the Bucs to win the game.

Final Score:

Cardinals: 31

Buccaneers: 34
