It seems the Coronavirus is hitting the sports world hard. The NBA and NHL have suspended play for the foreseeable future, and all college basketball conference championships have been cancelled.
The Buccaneers have also been effected per a report from ESPN reporter Jenna Laine.
Due to the rapidly-changing situation with the coronavirus, a source tells me that the Bucs decided late last night/early this morning to take all scouts and coaches off the road from pro days and private workouts and have them return home. https://t.co/p50CaWOfu1

This is a smart move by the Buccaneers, and I expect every NFL team to soon follow suite. It is still unclear whether or not other offseason dates will be affected. So far, the NFL has stated that the league year will still begin March 18th.
Via the NFL: There are no plans to move the start of the league year. Still on schedule for next Wednesday, March 18.

With that being said, the draft, owners meetings, and private workouts will all likely be effected in some capacity. We’ll keep you update as soon as we learn more information.
