With the legal tampering period starting off with a bang league-wide, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sounded off right away. The big news to follow here is where quarterback Tom Brady goes. This will ultimately set the tone for the rest of the clubs looking for their quarterback of 2020.
A report from Mike Garafolo stated that the Buccaneers have had communication with free-agent quarterback Jameis Winston and that everything was playing out how head coach Bruce Arians had described. The Buccaneers are reported to have a heavy interest in Tom Brady as we have covered on this site for weeks. Before today there had been no reports that Tampa and Winston have had any communication between the two.
Dianna Russini of ESPN has tweeted that she has talked to team sources who have an interest in Brady and she reported that “nobody knows what Brady is going to do”. This, of course, proves that Arians is still searching behind door number two with Winston still a player in the Buccaneers’ minds.
Tampa Bay would be wise to come to a decsion sooner rather than later in case both options are off the table.
