Summary:

Hamler is a slot target who is on the lighter side as a wideout but will have big play impact in games. Hamler’s blazing speed is used in solo and route combinations to place stress on slower defenders and create big plays.

Although with good there is bad. Hamler had alot of drops in 2019. His routes are rounded, but his athletic ability and speed help scouts look past those flaws. Hamler is a smaller slot and isn’t built for those hard earned yards like the bigger receivers but has the ability to catch a 5 yard pass and turn it in to 40. In the NFL speed kills and his game-breaking ability with a high risk, high reward draft pick.

Hamler should make an NFL roster and have an impact on special teams kick returning and punt returns. Hamler must go to a NFL team that can use his skill set to help his development and confidence.
