Summary:
Finke is a smaller receiver that has all of the tools to get the job done. He understands route concepts and combinations as well as rub techniques. Finke has often said that he doesn’t want to be overlooked and will play with a chip on his shoulder to prove to himself and everyone else that he belongs in the NFL.
Finke represents the kind of receiver a quarterback that relies on check downs is use to having. He gets to top speed quickly and has nice soft hands to catch passes. Notre Dame used their slot receivers to run long drag routes and double moves underneath. Finke short arms make it hard for him to create separation. Finke can be a great player in a system that best fits his skillset, I believe that Finke will likely go un-drafted in the 2020 draft.
