Pros:

– Route Running
– Hands
– Versatility

Cons:

– Blocking IQ
– Balance

Summary:

A day one starter, Kmet is a big physical tight end that could use more coaching in the run blocking department. Kmet closely resembles Rob Gronkowski and Kyle Rudolph with his big frame. He can high point a pass and make contested catches look very easy. Kmet has a little bit of a balance issue.

A two sport athlete playing baseball in the offseason and then playing football in the fall. Kmet should be a great target for all NFL teams that are looking for a in-line blocking tight end that can both run and pass block.

Kmet will be a valuable asset in a 12 package set in any run scheme offense. He has a huge upside in using his big frame in shielding off defenders to catch passes. Because of that, he also excels at contested catches in one on one situations. Look for Kmet to come off the board late in the 1st round or in the early stages of the second.
