The news comes a week after coaches were welcomed back to their training facilities. However, it is unknown whether the coach came in contact with anyone else at the facility. Also, this isn’t the first time an NFL player or team staff member has tested positive. Earlier this week, Dallas Cowboys’ running back Ezekiel Elliott tested positive for COVID-19.
The NFL has been reopening facilities and adjusting to the alternative way of life since May. This situation puts a damper on those efforts.
