For Mike Edwards and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers communication will be the key this year. His play so far during training camp has been solid, including being the first Buccaneer to intercept Tom Brady during training camp.
Edwards stated during a Zoom press conference Thursday that the defense, especially the secondary, has been harping on communication this offseason. Keeping the same group together from last year should be beneficial to that communication.
The chemistry they’ve built should continue to grow as they learn each other’s game. Building off the late season success the secondary had is the goal.
With the play making ability they have shown in training camp, it looks like they’re heading in the right direction.
