Buccaneers Trounce the Undefeated Packers 38-10

After going down 10-0 in the first quarter,  the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would go on to score 38 unanswered points. Aaron Rodgers ran for his life the entire game and Tampa Bay scores a massive victory against the undefeated Green Back Packers

First Quarter

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers start with the football after the Buccaneers defer.

Rodgers dinks and dunks down the field, but Tampa Bay doesn’t break forcing a 39-yard field goal. Mason Crosby drills it to give the Packers a 3-0 lead.

The Buccaneers go three and out after failing to convert a third and two. Suspect play calling to start the game for the Buccaneers’ offense and the Packers take over on their own 20.

The Packers drive down the field with ease and Rodgers dives into the end zone to go up 10-0 (after further review, Rodgers was down at the one-yard line. Aaron Jones scores on a rushing touchdown).

Score: 10-0

Second Quarter

The Buccaneers are forced to punt, but on the Packers next drive, Rodgers is intercepted. Jamel Dean returns it in for six to make the score 10-7 with 12:42 left.

On the very next drive, Mike Edward picks off Rodgers and returns it to the two-yard line. Ronald Jones punches it in to take a 14-10 lead.

Green Bay punts the football and Tom Brady leads a methodical drive that ends in a Tyler Johnson touchdown. The Buccaneers extended their lead to 21-10 with less than five minutes remaining in the half.

The Buccaneers defense forces a three and out after a huge sack by Lavonte David. Tom Brady throws a 12-yard touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski to take a 28-10 lead with less than two minutes remaining.

On the last play of the half, Rodgers gets pushed to the ground by Ndamukong Suh for a sack. The Buccaneers run into the locker room with an 18 point lead.

Score: 28-10

Third Quarter

On the opening drive, Ryan Succop nails a 50-yard field goal to give the Buccaneers a 31-10 lead.

Suh and Rodgers continue to talk back and forth, you can tell it’s rattling Rodgers after the play. Green Bay is forced to punt once again after Winfield Jr. almost comes up with the interception.

The Buccaneers’ defense continues to get after Rodgers. After yet another punt, a pass interference call against Green Bay puts the ball on the two-yard line for the Buccaneers. Jones punches it in to give Tampa Bay a 38-10 lead.

Score 38-10

Fourth Quarter

Ronald Jones gets over 100 yards rushing for the third game in a row, but the Buccaneers play it safe on fourth down and punt.

The Packers offense takes their time and runs almost three minutes off the clock. Rodgers gets hit hard by Devin White and Green Bay punts the ball with under nine minutes remaining.

Tim Boyle and Blaine Gabbert enter the game at quarterback with five minutes remaining. After running out the clock, Tampa Bay would secure a 38-10 victory.

Final Score: 38-10

The Buccaneers will travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders on Sunday Night Football next week.
