John Lynch and Ronde Barber have been announced as semifinalists for the NFL Hall of Fame.
Both Lynch and Barber have emerged as one of 25 modern era finalists. This list has been narrowed down from an original 130 modern era candidates.
The next step in the process will cull the list to 15 finalists. The final induction list is being selected and announced during Super Bowl LV weekend in Tampa.
Lynch is a nine-time nominee and is considered one of the favorites for induction. He played 15 seasons as a safety for the Buccaneers and Broncos, earning nine Pro Bowl appearances and two All Pro teams.
Barber has been a semi finalist three times previously.
