Arians on A.Q. Shipley: “Appears to Have Had Career-Ending Injury”

Following Monday night’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians described A.Q. Shirley’s injury as “just a stinger, it looks like he’s going to be OK.”

Wednesday night on SiriusXM NFL Radio Arians had a much bleaker outlook,

“A.Q. Shipley appears to have had a career-ending injury,” And I feel bad because I love A.Q. He’s one of my favorite players of all-time and was playing good for us. But I think it was a previous injury that might have just got aggravated in his neck.”

The Buccaneers looked poised to use Shipley at center again this Sunday against the Chiefs.

This is a developing story, stay tuned to for further details.
