Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David has been nominated for the NFL’s Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.

This is the fourth consecutive year David has been nominated. David is also a team captain and defensive leader for the Buccaneers.
The Art Rooney Award was established in 2015 to recognize outstanding sportsmanship on the field. It is named after Rooney, a member of the NFL Hall of Fame and founding member of the Pittsburgh Steelers organization.
