Buccaneers Ronald Jones is “Doubtful” for Saturday’s Game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the thick of a playoff race with two games left in the regular season. Following a victory over the Falcons on Sunday and riding a two game winning streak the Buccaneers need to be at full strength and firing on a cylinders.

Tuesday head coach Bruce Arians said Ronald Jones is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Lions.

Jones was placed on the Reserve/Covid-19 list last week heading up to the matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. That combined with still recovering from a broken pinkie, I would think saying he’s doubtful is being generous.

Look for running back Leonard Fournette to carry the bulk of the load this Saturday vs. the Lions.

Jones was well on his way to his first 1000 yard season before the injuries and Covid-19 issues came.
