The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2020 regular season was one of the franchise’s best finishing 11-5. Throughout the year several Buccaneers were nominated and some received weekly and monthly honors. Tuesday, three Buccaneers received yearly honors from the Pro Football Writers of America.

Buccaneers guard Ali Marpet was selected to the All-NFC Team. Also, rookies tackle Tristan Wirfs and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. were selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

Marpet has been a stalwart on the Buccaneers offensive line since being drafted in the 2nd round in 2015. Wirfs has been everything advertised and more after being selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. Wirfs has allowed only one, yes one sack so far this, his rookie season. Winfield Jr. has lived up to the hype as well after being selected 45th overall in the 2nd round. Winfield Jr. has had a phenomenal rookie campaign with 91 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
